Excel files with macros are targeted by antivirus/antimalware software, so we’ve created a multistep process for downloading the SquareUsUp template file while minimizing the warnings and objections that may be raised by this software.

Do this to get the SquareUsUp template:

Right-click on this image of the SquareUsUp template and choose Save Link As (or an equivalent option)
Select a folder to download the file to and click Save, ignoring any popup that invites you to open the downloaded file
Use File Manager to find the downloaded SquareUsUp.xls file and rename it by changing .xls to .xlsm, answering Yes to the warning about changing the file’s extension
Right-click on the renamed file and select Properties
On the General tab, check the Unblock box and click OK
Double-click on SquareUsUp.xlsm to open it in Excel
If you enter Protected View mode, click Enable Editing; if you get a Security Warning, click Enable Content

When the Create a Project window comes up, your SquareUsUp.xlsm template file is ready for use to let you create SquareUsUp projects.

**SquareUsUp Template:** Right-click and choose Save Link As to download to a folder of your choice. Left-click to download to your default downloads folder.

The User Guide is a .PDF file that essentially contains the documentation shown in the User Guide and Advanced Topics pages of this website.

Do this to get the SquareUsUp User Guide:

Select a folder to download the file to and click Save

The User Guide is 22 pages long and formatted for single-sided or double-sided printing on letter-sized paper.
